DETF means Decentralized ETF

Uniswap V4 markets for DETFs

A DETF needs a real market behind the token. These use Uniswap V4 pools people can trade. This launch has three setups: one two-token pool, three pools that share one pot, and a weighted set of pools. Diagrams below.

Why Uniswap V4

A DETF needs a real market behind the token. Uniswap V4 pools are that market. People can trade them. Adding money gives you an LP token. That token proves you added. A listing with no pool is not enough.

Cash in a pool can sit in a vault. We ship three setups for this launch. Not every market design.

How a DETF sits on Uniswap V4

You hold the DETF token. You own a piece of the assets behind it. Those assets sit in Uniswap V4 pools. Cash can sit in a vault. When you bond, you add to that market and get LP tokens. Those LP tokens are what you lock. They are not a second price.

One pool

Two tokens in one Uniswap V4 pool: the DETF token and a cash token. The cash can sit in a vault. If you add money, you get one LP token. Traders see a normal two-token pool.

Pair DETF: one Uniswap V4 pool. DETF token on one side, cash on the other. First bond opens the reserve. LP tokens are what you bond with.

Three pools, one pot

Three tokens sit in one shared pot. Traders use three Uniswap V4 pools. A trade in any pool updates the same pot. One LP token covers all three pools. Your money is not split across three separate books.

Triangle DETF: three Uniswap V4 pools, one shared inventory. DETF token plus two other tokens.

A pool for every pair

Two to eight tokens. You set the weights when you create the DETF. Every pair has a Uniswap V4 pool into the same pot. Other tokens can sit in vaults. This type uses at least one vault.

Weighted DETF: DETF token plus other tokens. One Uniswap V4 pool for each pair, all using the same weighted inventory.

How this meets DETFs

Each DETF uses its matching Uniswap V4 setup. One pool. Or three pools that share one pot. Or a pool for every pair. In every case you bond with that setup's LP token.

The main offer is still: create your own DETF. These pools are the market under it.

  • One pool: DETF token on one side, cash on the other. Cash can sit in a vault. Bond with that LP token.
  • Three pools, one pot: DETF token plus two other tokens. Bond with that LP token.
  • A pool for every pair: bond with that LP token.
